- Mary was a trans woman that was a good friend of Rin. Although she was middle-aged when she first got into the business her partner, a male crossdresser, always told her how pretty she was. In Episode Three she was talking with Rin about him - a man in his 80's - who recently died in a streak of bombings plaguing Tokyo - and from her Rin found out that her partner was a World War II veteran, and was involved in the research going on at Hagashima Island during that time.
- Mary also owned an Okama (gay club), which she later bequeathed to Sue in Episode Four.
